As Managing Director Middle East & Africa for Barilla, he is credited with leading the transformation of the company from an export setup into a regional presence with category leadership across strategic markets.

With over 23 years of FMCG experience across the MENA region, with blue-chip companies Unilever, Mars, and Barilla, Loay’s specializations include managing end-to-end, emerging markets, business transformation, strategic planning, geographical expansion, start-up businesses, and growth hacking. A board member of the Asia, Australia & Africa leadership team and a member of the Consumer Goods Forum, Vistage Advisory Group, Loay is credited with multiple transformation initiatives and business turnarounds in the MEA, with on-the-ground experience in Egypt, KSA, and UAE.

Loay has also created a partners board of highly experienced individuals who can jointly devise strategies for growth & expansion.
